"Do not do business with State Farm, especially this branch. They refused business to someone morally because they wanted lower coverage. Fairly certain the reason is because that person is a young woman and the agent thought they knew better. If you are a young woman, try to steer clear of this branch."

"Steve Brokaw denied me the quote I wanted for my vehicle. I was told he felt “morally wrong” issuing liability only coverage, despite my specificity as a client in what I wanted. I wonder if he does this for all of his customers or if he reserves this conscience for young female clients."

I take full responsibility for the way Steve handled your interaction and am sorry that it didn't meet your expectations. We really do love what we do and care deeply about our customers. Sometimes that means we don't agree with the decisions people make. I've asked everyone on my team to treat all of our customers like they would their own mother. If Steve wouldn't sell his mother the policy you requested. Then he acted the way that I've asked him to. We may have missed an opportunity to explain our reasoning in a way that made sense or helped. Again, this is my fault. I'll continue to respect your review and hope that you respect the way I chose to run my business. This State Farm location isn't the place to call if you are looking for the cheapest coverage available. We are the place to call, if you are looking to connect with real people in a local office. We are the place to call if you'd like some advice and guidance on your choices. My sincere apologies to Madeleine. I wish we could give everyone everything they wanted. "
